The 50th Grand Session will be held in Fairbanks June 25-28, 2012 Registration Chair Betty Prentice registration@akiorg.org Message from our first GWA, Mary "This year is the 50th anniversary of Rainbow Grand Assembly of Alaska. I hope that you will save your pennies and plan ahead to attend. I’ll be there along with others of of that first great meeting of Alaskans and visitors which took place in 1963 in Anchorage. Our colors were dark blue and gold, the Alaska Flag colors. The theme was “”New Horizons on a Golden Shore.” Recently I again experienced the continuing fellowship of Rainbow Girls. The experience was an affirmation of why Rainbow and its teachings and friendships have meant so much to me in the 56 years that I have been involved. I hope that you will continue in the Rainbow path and literally let it lead and inspire you your entire life. God Bless all of you. If you have a talent who would like to share at Grand, please contact GWA Summer or your Mother Advisor. Let them know what your talent will be and if you need anything special such as a music stand, mics, etc. |
