Dedication

"Life's Mirror"

There are loyal hearts, there are spirits brave, There are souls that are pure and true;

Then give to the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you.

Give love, and love to your life will flow, A strength in your utmost need;

Have faith, and a score of hearts will show, their faith in your word and deed.

Give truth and your gift will be paid in kind, and honor will honor met;

And a smile that is sweet and surely find, a smile that is just as sweet.

Give sorrow and pity to those who mourn; you will gather in flowers again.

The scattered seeds of your thought outcome, though the sewing seemed but vain.

For life is the mirror of king and slave 'tis just what we are and do;

Then give to the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you."

I would like to dedicate this poem and Grand Assembly to a very special person in my life. They have taught me that regardless of how many troubles you face during your day to day travels or how many obstacles you must overcome, you should always try to give the best you have to those who need it without complaint. This person has given years of endless dedication to her assembly not only as a member, but as an adult as well, and it is a great privilege to dedicate the 37th Grand Assembly to my sister Heidi, who has given me many of life's beautiful gifts.
